She Had No Idea Her Husband Had A Mistress, But She Just Met This Woman At Her Husband’s Work Party, Where She Also Found Out About The Affair

She quickly collected her phone, snapped a photo of her husband with his mistress, and left. That night she fell asleep in her son’s bedroom because she didn’t want to have to come face-to-face with her husband after finding out that he was clearly cheating on her.

The following morning, her husband could tell that something was up, and when he prodded her about what was going on, she questioned him about how long he had been having his affair.

Initially, her husband claimed that he wasn’t having one, but she whipped out the photo she had taken the night before, and he finally confessed to the affair being 3 months old.

Her stomach dropped as her husband told her this, and it dawned on her that her husband also didn’t care about their sick son because he was too invested in his mistress.

“And he wanted to parade me around like a show pony just to publicly kiss her,” she said. “How…humiliating that these people, who I didn’t even know, knew about my husband’s public affair before I even had a clue.”

“What makes me even more sick is I’ve been suffering from postpartum depression. We have a six-month-old baby, and his dad is off with some other woman. I don’t know what to do. I kicked him out of the house, I can barely look at him.”

She’s done her best to divert her attention towards taking care of her children, prepping them for school, completing some housework, and painting the cabinets in her kitchen.

She’s reached a point, though, where she can’t keep on preventing herself from thinking about the affair.

Since then, she’s been sobbing nonstop while feeling angry at her husband and herself as well. She’s not sure how she can ever begin to trust her husband again after such a betrayal.

“How much am I to blame in this, too?” she wondered. “Surely, he must’ve been bored enough to go to someone else months after his youngest son was born. Clearly, I’m doing something wrong. But what? I gave everything to this man.”

“I gave up my career for him. I became a housewife because he felt it would be better for the upbringing of our kids. But I don’t know what I want now. I can’t stand to even look at him, but the idea of divorce makes me feel violently ill. Like I’m letting her win somehow.”
