“I’ll wake up and see if I can go back to sleep through it,” she said. “If I can’t, I nudge him to change positions. If this happens enough times, he gets irritated, saying he can’t help it and I should let him sleep.”
“I use earplugs and spend much of the night with my pillow wrapped around my head which is uncomfortable. I’ll be up for hours in the night each night just trying to get back to sleep through constant snoring.”
Her husband is beginning to believe his current weight could be why he’s snoring so badly, but she doesn’t have time to wait around for him to drop some pounds and find out if that alleviates his snoring problem.
Her husband has gone to the doctor too about his snoring, but his doctor isn’t really taking the problem as “as seriously” as she wishes.
She also suspects her husband could have sleep apnea, though his doctor never requested that he take a test to find out.
“What do I do?” she wondered. “I’m so angry at him all the time because I’m not sleeping.”
