She told the teacher that while she appreciates her concern, she won’t drastically change her son’s lunch out of the blue simply because some other students have become supposedly distracted.
“It is very important to me what my son enjoys, and I want him to like my lunches,” she added.
After their phone call, the teacher sent a follow-up email, saying that her response over the phone was unacceptable. She then told her that her son’s lunches were too “inappropriate” to send to school.
She’s at a loss for what to do. Although she wants to stick up for her son and what her family likes to eat, she wants to maintain a healthy relationship with his teachers.
