She Ditched Her Friend After She Kept Showing Up To Hangouts Late And Blaming It On Her Kid, So Then Her Friend Blasted Her On A Mom’s Group And Called Her Selfish

Rather than being angry about that, though, she is actually starting to feel kind of bad. In fact, she believes that Samantha’s reaction to her comments would not have been so strong unless her friend was genuinely upset.

She also admitted that Samantha is right– she doesn’t “get it” since she doesn’t have any kids.

“But I still feel annoyed that she’s late and feel justified for leaving. My time is precious, too!” she vented.

In spite of her own feelings, though, she has been left wondering whether ditching Samantha and Katie at the restaurant after they were late was the wrong thing to do or not.

Is having kids an excuse to constantly be late? Would it be different if Samantha communicated they were running behind instead of just not showing up on time? Do you think she did the right thing by putting her foot down and leaving? If not, how would you have handled this situation?
