“Five minutes passed, and I can feel his eyes boring into me. He receives a phone call, and it’s from the Lyft driver, and he lets me know they are there if I am still interested and want a ride. I decline again.”
As soon as her food was ready from the kitchen, she bolted out of the bar.
Thankfully she found an Uber after waiting on the street for a little while and made it home safely.
“The more I think about it, this man was so adamant about me getting in the Lyft,” she said.
“He didn’t even know where I was going. I’m thanking that inner feeling that told me not to accept a ride from that man.”
