According to him, his 4-year-old son does the same, too.
“But my sister wasn’t disturbed by me cuddling my son, just my daughter. She was always obsessed with the daddy’s girl figure since she was never that with my dad,” he vented.
Regardless, his half-sister called him a jerk and claimed that since Sadie didn’t get to be a daddy’s girl, his 2-year-old shouldn’t be one, either.
Still, he did not agree with that and claimed that while he is not a good father to Sadie, that shouldn’t mean he is not allowed to love his youngest daughter.
Yet, in the wake of that fight, he’s still been left wondering whether coddling his 2-year-old and not doing the same for Sadie really does make him a jerk.
Did Sadie get to choose who her parents were? Even if he did not want to have a child with Clara, does that mean he is allowed to treat his eldest differently? If you were in Sadie’s shoes, how would you feel watching your father dote over your younger half-siblings? Is there any way he can reconcile this situation?
