He Got Asked To Contribute Between $20,000 And $30,000 To His High School Bully’s Medical Expenses, But He Refuses To Help The Person Who Made His Life Miserable

While his bully was in a coma for many years, though, Jake’s parents and friends covered the medical bills to keep him on a ventilator.

Still, he admitted that he never really felt any sympathy about Jake’s situation and honestly believed the bully had it coming.

Regardless, one of his old friends reached out to him recently– detailing how a GoFundMe campaign for Jake’s medical bills had ended.

So, he learned that Jake’s parents were nearly bankrupt from all of the expenses.

His friend didn’t just reach out to fill him in on the situation, though. Instead, his friend wound up telling him that “everyone would appreciate it” if he contributed a whopping $20,000 or $30,000 toward Jake’s medical bills!

As you can imagine, he was stunned by that suggestion and ultimately just laughed before telling his friend, “absolutely not.”

He pointed out how he worked seriously hard for his money. So, he understandably doesn’t want to hand it over to the one person who made his last year of high school completely miserable.

Ever since he turned down that request, though, he has gotten accused of being a selfish jerk for not helping out Jake despite the fact he can “clearly afford it.”

But what really blows his mind is how his old friend knew Jake mercilessly bullied him, yet he was still asked to pay tens of thousands of dollars.

And quite frankly, he was honest about viewing Jake’s fate as karma.

“I’ve made it in life, and I don’t want to share the spoils with people who tried to belittle me,” he vented.
