However, the nurse did not let her off the hook. Instead, the nurse suggested that she could perhaps find a way to properly make it up to her.
So, she wound up just saying, “Sure,” before telling the nurse that she and Sophie had to get going.
Anyway, in hindsight, she doesn’t really think she was being rude. But, at the same time, she’s still been left wondering whether she should have told the school nurse that she was a doctor.
