What makes her the most worried about her boyfriend and coworker’s friendship, though, has to do with her contact in her boyfriend’s phone.
For context, when they first started dating, her boyfriend did not have anyone’s name saved to his contact list. Instead, he just tried to remember everyone’s numbers.
After he kept confusing phone numbers, though, she eventually told her boyfriend that he needed to start saving names. After that, he did add her name as a contact on his phone– but she noticed it was spelled wrong.
Still, since it was pretty early in their relationship, she didn’t think much of it. Rather, she just always assumed he would fix it.
Yet, her boyfriend never edited her contact. And just last week, when her coworker called her boyfriend, she saw her coworker’s name pop up on his phone.
Apparently, he had saved her coworker’s contact as a cute nickname that rhymed– which really upset her.
She decided to be upfront about it, too, and asked her boyfriend why their female friend’s name was saved like that in his phone.
He didn’t understand what was wrong with the contact name, though, and reportedly just got mad at her.
So, she tried to explain her reasoning. She detailed how, if she didn’t know her boyfriend and saw that name pop up on his screen, she would immediately assume it was his girlfriend calling. After all, people tend to save their partner’s contact information with cute nicknames.
She also pointed out how it would be one thing if she also had a cute nickname, too. But she reminded her boyfriend of the fact that her plain name wasn’t even spelled correctly on his phone!
