She Made A Decision To Turn Down The Baby Shower Her Husband’s Family Wanted To Throw For Her, And Now She Feels Guilty For Upsetting Them

“No one made any moves prior to April or mentioned the shower, so I️ figured it wasn’t happening just because of timing with my husband’s work,” she explained.

Her husband has a weekend off around June 3rd. So, his mom and sister scheduled a baby shower for that day without asking her permission first.

She asked them if they could cancel the shower because she’d be past 34 weeks pregnant and didn’t want to risk traveling in case anything went wrong or the baby came early.

Now, her in-laws are very upset. Her husband is insisting that they go because his family members have been looking forward to it.

Should she feel bad for not wanting to go to another baby shower?
