She Went Out On A Date With Her Ex-Husband And Thinks She’s Falling In Love All Over Again

Her ex did think over her proposition for a little while. But, eventually, he said that he would love to go out to dinner– and she was totally shocked.

She even asked her ex if he was serious, and he reassured her that he was. So, they made a plan and agreed to go out the following Tuesday evening.

Anyway, when it came time to go on the date, she just told her children that she was going out to grab some food with a girlfriend. Then, she left for dinner and even stopped to buy her ex flowers on her way to the restaurant.

Upon arriving, she met up with her ex right outside the place. And honestly, she was so nervous that she just kept stuttering.

Her ex walked up to her with flowers in his hands, though, which completely caught her off guard. It became apparent to her ex that she didn’t really know what the flowers were for, either. So, he told her that he bought the blossoms for her.

She was overjoyed about that, too, and commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Then, she thanked her ex before proceeding to stand there kind of awkwardly– rubbing her neck and looking away due to nerves.

After that, there was a bit of silence until she finally complimented her ex– telling him how handsome he looked that night.

At that point, he smiled at her and told her she looked pretty, too. Then, they finally headed inside for their meal.

Understandably, dinner was a bit awkward in the beginning. Their conversation started off with a safe topic– kids. Then, they were able to venture on to discussing other things.

“I think he knew I was nervous and made a point to be calm,” she explained.

For her, though, the best part of the night was when her ex made a remark about how good a brownie sounded. Then, once the waitress came around, he said, “My girlfriend wanted a brownie if that’s cool.”
