After A Really Tough Week, She Got Into A Fight With A Woman Over A Donut At A Coffee Shop

That’s when the woman snapped and said, “It’s a cheap thing to do, to only give half a donut. You are so stuck up. Can you not suck it up and just let me have the donut? She’s really looking forward to it.”

The woman’s sudden rudeness made her snap as well. She turned to the woman and told her that she tried to be polite, but she’s also been having a really hard week. Then, she said that she should’ve gotten to the shop earlier if she wanted the donut so badly. 

Her outburst caused a bit of a scene in the store.

“The rest of the people in line sighed at me and looked angry,” she remembered.

The woman then told her that she was a working single mom and her job wouldn’t allow her to leave early. Tired of fighting, she paid for the donut, kept it to herself, and walked out of the store.

Now, she’s wondering if she should’ve just given the woman the donut for her daughter, despite how rude she was.

Should she have given up the donut?
