First, mince up the chicken breast and add the seasonings: paprika, cayenne powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and mustard, in that order.
Combine everything together. Next, add 60 grams of cornflakes into a separate bowl, roll the chicken into balls, and cover them with cornflakes.
After they have been covered with cornflakes, flatten the chicken into the shape of patties. Each patty should pick up about 10 grams of cornflake crumbs.
Then, throw the chicken patties into the air fryer at 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. Sprinkle black pepper on top before frying.
While the patties are cooking in the air fryer, chop up some romaine lettuce and toast some hamburger buns.
When the patties are finished, place them on the buns and spread mayo on the other half of the buns.
Finally, add the lettuce, and you’re ready to enjoy this recreation of the McChicken!
@cooklikeimbook When I was a weight loss chef for 2 families, one of my former client used to love McChickens so this recipe was developed for her so she could reach her fitness goals and eat healthier. Decided to make this a 4th time cause @aussiefitness recipe looked so delicious ?? Per Sandwich: 196 Calories | 32g Protein| 4g Fat | 9g Net Carbs Ingredients for 6 Sandwiches: ?600g Chicken Breast ( I used Tenderloin for lower calorie) 1 tbsp Mustard 1tsp Paprika 1tsp Cayenne 2tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Onion Powder 1tbsp Salt 2 tsp Black Pepper 1 tsp Celery powder Each patty picked up about 10g Corn flake crumbs Low calorie bun ( I used Culture Keto Buns found at Walmart) Romaine Lettuce 7g of Light Mayo- I used Miracle Whip light mayo Calorie and macros will vary depending on mayo brand and bun brand. Portioning is important for calorie intake as well so to be accurate, learn what a portion size is or invest in a food scale to measure. 20 calories of mayo can quickly go to 100 calories if measured incorrectly. #mcdonalds #fitness #easyrecipe #highprotein
