After you place the jalapeño evenly, it is time to put the hot dogs filled with cheese on and roll them up!
Put the hot dogs in the oven for 13 to 15 minutes. Taryn didn’t mention the oven temperature in the video, but the recommended temperature for this dish is usually 400 Fahrenheit.
And there you have it! Hot dogs wrapped in blankets with the rich taste of cheddar cheese and a kick of the jalapeño spice.
The cookbook also recommends serving this dish with mustard, but “they are good as it is,” Taryn said.
Her community is excited to try this dish after Taryn shares the recipe.
“How did I not know about this book?” User @kristinastutch wrote.
“Okay, you have convinced me to buy his book,” @zayna0312 commented.
Some of them also gave suggestions on making slight alterations to this recipe.
“Imagine wrapping the outside of that with bacon,” @jackakully75 said. “That would be so good. Send it over the top.”
