She Found Out Her Boyfriend Went On Bumble After A Minor Misunderstanding, So She Broke Up With Him, And Now She’s Wondering If She Did The Right Thing

He was reportedly okay with that, too. So, she figured everything was fine, arrived at the party as planned, and had a wonderful time. The following day, though, she did notice that her boyfriend started to act kind of distant.

Still, she did not really think much of it and assumed he was just busy.

Later on, though, she realized her cousin had sent an incriminating screenshot in their group chat.

Apparently, her cousin had been swiping on Bumble when her boyfriend’s profile popped up on the dating app! So, her cousin forwarded a screenshot to ask if it was really him, and she confirmed that it was.

But honestly, she still did not really think anything of the Bumble profile.

“Because it could just be an old profile that he forgot to disable when we started our relationship. I did disable all of my dating apps to prevent any misunderstandings when we made things official,” she explained.

So, she gave her boyfriend the benefit of the doubt and texted him to ask what he was doing on the dating app. While she really thought he was going to claim it was an old profile, though, her boyfriend wound up owning up to his Bumble profile and trying to explain himself.

“Last night, I was angry at you because you went to the party without me. All my friends were telling me that you deliberately disinvited me. I got drunk and angry, so I reactivated my Bumble profile. I didn’t talk to anyone, though,” her boyfriend told her.

Now, that explanation genuinely made her heart sink, and she wound up telling her boyfriend that she didn’t want to talk to him anymore. Then, she hung up the phone on him and decided to reflect on the whole situation for a few minutes.

Afterward, she came to the conclusion that she would not stand for such disrespect. Quite frankly, she did not care if her boyfriend didn’t talk to any other girls. At the end of the day, she feels like he completely betrayed her trust.

On top of that, she believes her boyfriend showed her that he would just talk to other girls and potentially cheat whenever they had a conflict rather than being upfront and communicating.
