She Refused To Let Her Boyfriend Watch His Favorite TV Show During Their Date Night Even Though It Helps Him Cope With His Panic Attacks

That’s why her boyfriend wound up accusing her of being selfish. Plus, he claimed that she really didn’t understand the mental health struggles he deals with.

She doesn’t quite agree with her boyfriend, though, and revealed how it more so just felt as though her boyfriend was trying to use his personal issues to guilt trip her into watching a show that she just was not interested in.

Regardless, she’s been feeling torn ever since– and isn’t sure whether it’s more important to support him or ensure their date night remains enjoyable for the both of them.

So, she’s been left wondering whether refusing to let her boyfriend watch his favorite TV show to calm his anxiety during their date night was a really jerky thing to do.

What do you think is more important– their date night or her boyfriend’s mental health? Might her boyfriend just be trying to guilt trip her or not? Do you believe they could have found a compromise to make them both happy? If so, what would you suggest?
