But only two months later, her best friend’s boyfriend is somehow ready to go full-force and buy an apartment with Carlie– which she thinks is fishy.
Carlie and her boyfriend have even applied for loans already without telling anyone in her family. Instead, the pair are just waiting for approval to move forward.
And honestly, she is very worried that the arrangement will end in disaster.
“I’ve told her I think she should rent first to even see if she can live with him and what it is like,” she vented.
Carlie didn’t see the issue, though, and claimed that idea was “plan B” in case they were not approved for a loan.
So now, even though she thinks her best friend is making a huge mistake, she isn’t sure if she should try to get Carlie to change her mind or just leave the situation alone.
Does it sound like she’s made it clear to Carlie how she feels about the guy? At what point is it up to Carlie to make the decision for herself? Do you think she should keep trying or let it go? What would you do?
