She’s Refusing To Be Her Parent’s Live-In Babysitter After They Found Out They’re Having Another Kid They Clearly Don’t Want

Still, her parents did not formally sit her down to talk to her about the baby until about a week ago.

At that point, she learned her parents planned to have her watch the child for three or four hours after school every single day until they returned home from work.

In order to do that, though, she would be forced to quit her after-school activities and sacrifice any free time hanging out with her friends.

On top of that, her parents also wanted her to stay home next summer. Then, they urged her to think about staying home for the following summers afterward to pitch in with the baby. But honestly, she told them that was not happening.

Still, her parents claimed that she was going to be a big sister. So, since she is part of the family, they tried to say that she had certain responsibilities.

“So I told them they had responsibilities as parents, and I am not a parent. I am the child in their house,” she recalled.

Her parents said that would not be true for long, however. That’s why she was forced to lay out her other options.

More specifically, she pointed out how she could just rush her graduation and leave home. That way, they would not be able to use her for free childcare.

It became clear to her that her parents weren’t expecting her to react that way, either.

Apparently, she had already spoken to her guidance counselor after finding out about the baby. She learned that she would be able to graduate in December– finishing her senior year early.

After all, she is nearly done with her junior year right now. And with the grades she has, graduating early is definitely doable.
