Her mom’s boyfriend reasoned that if she ran him over with her car, she could call her workplace and inform them that she was late because she ran over someone in an accident. In the video, Marissa clarified that she did not take him up on his offer.
“Just to get this out of the way, I didn’t run this man over with my car. But the thing was, he was so serious,” said Marissa.
“This was a genuine offer of his, and I really believe that if I had said, ‘yeah, yeah actually, let’s try that out,’ he would’ve gone outside, just laid on the ground, and let me run him over with my Camry.”
Some TikTok users shared the creative ways their mothers’ boyfriends made use of to try to get on their good sides.
“Every time my mom and her boyfriend got into a fight, he would bring me an orange Fanta,” commented one user.
“My mom’s BF just offered to (probably illegally?) bring me copies of coroners’ reports because I thought I wanted to be a forensic anthropologist. Wild!” exclaimed another.
