Once the orange peels are covered in the thick syrup, remove them from the pan and let them dry spaced out on a cooling rack. Mandy places parchment paper under her cooling racks to prevent a sticky mess.
Let the orange peels cool and dry for about an hour before tossing them in more sugar until fully coated.
