This 24-year-old girl got married to her husband, who is 28, about a year and a half ago. But she actually stalked him for two and a half years before they ever officially met.

She saw her husband for the first them when she was a freshman in high school; meanwhile, he was a freshman in college.

Her husband had been taking his dog on a walk at the park when he stopped to talk to her brother because they just so happened to have gone to the same high school together.

“That was the moment I became hooked,” she recalled.

“That same day, I found his Instagram, his family’s social media, and also where he lived since my brother offered to walk him home while I tagged along.”

Then, by the time she got back to her own house, she was certain that she wanted him. But, due to the four-year age difference– with her being 14 and her current husband being 18– she knew she needed to devise a plan.

She soon learned that her now-husband’s younger brother was just one year below her. So, the next year, her husband’s brother would be going to her high school as a freshman.

She realized that she needed to become friends with the younger brother in any way possible while she was a sophomore. And she did.

It took until about halfway through her junior year for her and her husband’s brother to become best friends. Then, she was regularly invited over to his house for hangouts and got to become friends with her current husband’s mom.

And his mom loved talking about him.

“From her, I found out what college he goes to, his past girlfriends, what his elementary and middle school was, his favorite and least favorite foods, his pet peeves, what he likes, etc.,” she revealed.

As time went on, her visits to the house started to become more frequent, too. So, she finally wound up properly meeting her now-husband for the first time.

He would be at the house every other weekend, and whenever he was there, she would specifically wear her best outfits just to try and impress him. She also made an effort to joke around with her current husband, winning him over.

Then, just as she had planned, she ultimately became friends with her current husband.

For context, he was also the school record holder for one sport at her school– which she happened to also play.

So, around halfway through her senior year, her now-husband returned to the school to help coach the sports team to gain more volunteer hours.

All the while, she was one of the athletes and got to spend a bunch more time with him.

“I loved every second of it,” she explained.

“We were friends before, but then we became much closer since I got to spend lots of extra time with him after school, where sometimes he would even drive me home since we lived relatively close.”

Later, once it was nearly time for her to graduate high school, she found out that her now-husband had received a job offer in New York City. In turn, he would be moving away.

At that point, she found a college close to his new job, applied, and got in– moving to New York City with him. This basically made her and her husband each other’s only friends in a brand new state. And due to that, they became even closer.

By the time she was almost in her second year of college, they had begun dating. Then, once she graduated, her husband proposed, and they more recently got married. However, to this day, he still has no clue how their relationship really came to be.

In fact, her husband actually thinks it was fate that they were brought together through his younger brother. And lately, that has started to make her feel a bit guilty.

She isn’t sure if she should tell her husband the truth or if she should at least tell his younger brother since that was the only reason why they ever became friends.

“I feel guilty every time my husband tells others our love story because the truth is, I’ve known him for 10 years while he’s only known me for about seven,” she admitted.

So now, she is actually planning to tell her husband the truth since she thinks he deserves to know who he really tied the knot with.

What do you think about what she did? If you were in her shoes, would you ever tell your husband? Might he find this whole thing incredibly creepy? Is there any chance he doesn’t?
