“It’s not true, but my sister and brother won’t let it go,” she said.
“It’s really quite hurtful to have my family saying these things, even as jokes.”
Now, after being teased and accused of dirty things, she feels she should tell the truth about where her daughter’s college fund came from.
However, she’s not sure how her sister would react, and she’s struggling to get advice from someone because she worries the truth will get out before she’s made her decision.
“It will stop them insisting on knowing the source, but it might hurt my sister to know he helped us,” she added.
Should she tell her family where the money came from so they stop teasing her?
