She Really Doesn’t Want Her Sister’s Baby To Call Her “Aunt,” So Now Her Sister Is Trying To Guilt-Trip Her Into Agreeing

When this 32-year-old woman was younger, she was raised as the second youngest daughter in her family of four kids. She had a sister named Ann, who is now 52, and a brother named Bo, who is 35.
Finally, her youngest “sister” was Cece, who is now 30-years-old.
But, it was not until she turned 14-years-old that she found out Cece was actually not her sister– Cece was really Ann’s daughter.
This was obviously a shocking realization, and her entire family had a tough time dealing with the aftermath.
Apparently, Cece only found out about being Ann’s daughter from some gossiping neighbors– which didn’t help the situation.
Still, everything worked out in the end. By the time Cece turned 18, her parents had sat down with Ann and Cece to explain the entire situation.
“From what Cece told me, Ann got pregnant with her boyfriend, he left, and Ann had Cece and raised her for a little over a year,” she explained.
“Then, Ann met her now-husband, and he told her that he would never accept another man’s child. Ann then decided to put Cece up for adoption, but my parents offered to adopt her instead of her ending up with strangers.”
Anyway, the cat was out of the bag after that. Things have also changed immensely over the past five years since her parents sadly passed away in a tragic accident.

Since then, Cece has given birth to a baby girl, who is now 6-months-old. And all of a sudden, Cece has begun calling Ann and Ann’s husband the child’s grandparents– which really rubs her the wrong way.
After all, she thinks that her parents deserved that title even if they are no longer around, given everything they had done for Cece.
That’s why she decided to ask Cece about the “grandparents” title, but Cece just claimed to want the baby to have grandparents. Moreover, Cece didn’t want the baby to get confused about why other kids have grandparents, and she doesn’t.
“But the baby has her paternal grandparents who are still alive, so I didn’t buy it,” she revealed.
Then, she wound up talking to Cece’s husband to get to the bottom of the situation, and the truth finally came out.
Apparently, Ann’s husband is extremely wealthy. So, Ann and her husband claimed that if they were given the “grandparents” title, then they would be very generous with gifts– to not just Cece’s baby but Cece as well.
She acknowledges that this is Cece’s choice at the end of the day. But she still just was not comfortable with it, and she ultimately decided to tell Cece that she didn’t want the baby to call her “aunt.”
Her brother, Bo, felt the same way as her and ended up telling Cece that he didn’t want to be called “uncle,” either.
Since then, both Ann and Cece have been extremely angry at her. Plus, Ann even began spreading rumors about her parents, claiming that they forced Ann to give up Cece.
“Which, if you knew my parents and knew how the legal system works, is ridiculous,” she said.
Regardless, Cece has started to guilt-trip her– asking if she really wants the baby to grow up without an aunt or an uncle.
“But it’s not like I won’t be here. I just don’t want them to call me aunt,” she vented.
Still, with Cece upset, she’s been left wondering whether she is in the wrong.
Can you imagine growing up in a family with so many secrets? How would you feel if you were in her shoes? Would you want Cece’s baby to call you “aunt” or not?
