Well, that was until her sister-in-law stopped by her house to drop something off yesterday, which changed everything.
While there, her sister-in-law started talking about how her niece had loved being in the bakery this summer.
Then, her sister-in-law claimed her niece wanted to know if she could go back to the bakery for a couple of Saturdays each month.
At that point, she decided to just be honest with her sister-in-law.
“I told my sister-in-law that, unfortunately, that wasn’t going to work out and that going forward, I didn’t think it was a good idea for my niece to help out,” she recalled.
“I told her it just wasn’t productive for us.”
If you could not have guessed, her sister-in-law was not happy about that and reiterated how her niece had a great time at the bakery and was looking forward to continuing to help out there.
So, she was forced to apologize but point out how she had a business to run. In order to do that successfully, her niece couldn’t be there.
Anyway, this discussion wound up turning into a screaming match that her husband was forced to break up.
Since then, both her sister-in-law and mother-in-law have been texting her– accusing her of “breaking a little girl’s heart.”
On top of that, her niece also called her husband and shared how she was extremely upset. Thankfully, though, her husband understood her perspective on the situation and stood by her decision.
