“In the past, she had never lashed out at me or said anything like that, so I was pretty surprised. She planned the rest of the party.”
Then, on the day of her parents’ party, she went to the dinner portion, but she left when Ava began her piano performance.
She sat in her car during the performance because she was hurt by how Ava had treated her leading up to the party.
Her parents never said anything about her choosing to leave their party because they knew the jealousy she had towards Ava.
However, Ava is upset with her and wants her to say sorry not only to her but also to their parents. In Ava’s view, she shouldn’t have walked out of their parents’ party and thinks that they deserve an apology, even though they don’t seem to be angry about it.
Do you think she was wrong to leave her parents’ anniversary party when Ava started to play the piano?
