She Wants To Stop Talking To A Guy She Met Online Because He Lied About His Height

So, they kept talking, and they really started to fall in love with each other. Yet, during the middle of a random conversation, the guy admitted to one more lie– he was actually four inches shorter than he previously told her.

Now, she thinks that she honestly would not have cared about the guy being short if he had told her from the beginning. But she’ll never know since he lied.

“And I don’t want to be superficial and make this a big deal, but I also don’t want to ignore a lie just to be ‘not superficial,'” she vented.

“Honestly, I got the ick.”

So, she is now wondering whether cutting contact with the guy because he lied about his height, as well as other things, would be the wrong thing to do or not.

Do you think she cares more that the guy lied about his height because it suggests he’s insecure? Would you also want to break it off or not? What should she do?
