Her Husband Claims That He’s Sitting On $300 Million Dollars, And She Thinks He’s Lying To Her About Being Wealthy Since She’s The One Paying For Everything

Five years ago, this 44-year-old woman tied the knot with her 61-year-old husband, and he informed her that he was extraordinarily rich.
He was not working when she met him, and he insisted that he had retired a decade prior to them knowing one another since he had made such a crazy amount of cash.
“However, he said he temporarily couldn’t access his money, so I had to pay for everything, although that would purportedly change soon,” she explained.
“It’s now been five years with no change—except that we now have a three-year-old son. I work full-time and am still the sole support for our family.”
“He doesn’t think he can get a job at his age, especially after having been out of the workforce for so long, and he’s sadly probably right about that.”
As for why her husband is not living on his mountains of money, it’s because he says his “people” are still working hard on getting him access to the money that’s rightful his.
Shady, right? And he won’t give her any more information than that or a timeline or anything. She’s completely in the dark, except for a few details.
The first detail is that her husband said he made $900 million dollars somewhere in Europe along with two of his partners, and after splitting the money equally, he is sitting on $300 million.
Her husband then mentioned the money has been hidden away since he and his partners did not pay taxes on it.

Allegedly, this money is sitting in two separate bank accounts; one is based in Belgium, and another one is based in Italy, and they each are anonymous.
According to her husband, a regulator from the EU discovered the stashes of cash and tried to find out who owned them, but both banks would only give out the numbers attached to the account and not the account owner’s name.
Since that happened, her husband has stated the regulators are watching his accounts like a hawk to see if any money is withdrawn, and this is the real reason why her husband and his friends cannot touch any of their money…or they will get caught.
And as for the people who are supposed to be working to get her husband access to his money, there is no likelihood of succeeding and no deadline for this to be accomplished by.
When she does try to get more information out of her husband, he promises that he cannot tell her anything else in order to protect her in the event he is ever caught and questioned.
If her husband is telling her the truth, it means he has engaged in criminal behavior, and that will put their family in jeopardy.
“However, I am 99% certain that the story is fiction,” she explained. “I strongly suspect that he tells women when he first meets them that he is extremely wealthy to impress and attract them.”
“With me, the relationship went further, so he eventually had to explain why he couldn’t pay for anything, and he made up this story to avoid having to admit that he’d been lying from the get-go. While I am not seriously concerned that my husband is a criminal (because I think the story is fake), I really want him to come clean with me and admit that he made it up.”
“The idea that he is still lying to me after all these years about a really important thing bothers me. Plus, I want him to explain to me how he supported himself for the 10 years before he met me, during which he wasn’t working.”
“Was he living off of various women whom he’d talked (conned) into supporting him? Basically, have I married a Dirty John/Tinder Swindler, and I am just the most recent victim of the con?”
She feels humiliated by this whole story, and so she doesn’t want to breathe a word of this to anyone in her life.
What do you think she should do?
