Even so, Sierra tried to convince her how much fun a double wedding would be and how great it would be for everyone to get together and see both of them get married at the same time. Still, she wholeheartedly refused this idea.
“I told her there was nothing that would convince me of that and nothing that would make me want to have a double wedding with her. That I would rather have a small, single wedding than deal with the [nonsense] of them seeing me get married,” she said.
Aside from the conflicting guest lists getting in the way, she surely wanted to have a special wedding day separate from her sister so that the day could be all about her and her partner. She was hopeful that Sierra would understand her wishes, too, but she has continued to receive guilt trips from her sister.
“She claimed the guest list should not be the reason I turn down a double wedding so harshly and that I am being bratty about it,” she added.
Do you think that she is in the right to refuse a double wedding with her sister, or do you think that having one would be beneficial to this family?
