Of course, balancing all those elements of your life is easier than it sounds, but taking time to carve out better daily routines and schedules to get all the essentials in will help you feel better about your day-to-day life.
You spend too much time on social media
One of the easiest ways to make yourself feel bad about yourself and what you’re doing with your life is to spend hours of your day on social media, comparing yourself to influencers and celebrities.
I get it; social media is an extremely easy trap to fall into. But when you spend so much of your day comparing your life to people whose literal job is making their life look as fabulous as possible online, you’re bound to start feeling pressured to do more with yourself.
You haven’t found or pursued your passions
Something that makes life worth living is passions and hobbies. If you don’t know what yours are or don’t have time to pursue them, no wonder you’re feeling empty! This also goes back to not carving out enough time for yourself, as when you don’t have enough free or alone time, you won’t have the opportunity to pursue your passions.
Whether it’s playing an instrument, participating in a sport, or performing on a stage, find a way to bring your passions back into your life, even if it’s in small ways each day.
As scary as feeling empty or unfulfilled may be, and although it may come and go, I promise you, it won’t last forever. Continue to look after yourself and make time for yourself, and eventually, you’ll figure it out.
