She’s Showing You How To Make Just $10 Worth Of Food Last For Three Whole Days Using Dollar Store Grocery Finds

After making these sandwiches, Rebecca still had three eggs left to eat however she’d like over the three days, along with the leftover bread. For lunches and dinners, Rebecca made a yummy smoked sausage and broccoli cheddar rice dish using the sausage, bag of broccoli, and cheddar broccoli rice packet.

“Dice [the] sausage and chop [the] broccoli into small pieces,” wrote Rebecca.

“Season [them] with black pepper to taste and sautée [them] in a skillet with oil on medium to medium-high [heat] until browned. Add two cups of water and [the] cheddar broccoli rice [packet.] Bring [it] to a boil, then cover and [let it] simmer for ten minutes.”

Rebecca divided the tasty-looking rice into three containers and mentioned you could serve it with some of the leftover sliced bread.

Finally, Rebecca prepped 12 bean and rice burritos for snacks, lunches, or dinners using the Spanish rice packet, the package of refried beans, and flour tortillas.

“In a skillet, fry [the] Spanish rice for three to five minutes until fragrant,” instructs Rebecca in the caption.

“Add two cups of water, bring [the rice] to a boil, then cover and [let it] simmer for ten minutes. Once it’s done, stir in [the] refried beans and split [them] between 12 tortillas. Prepared burritos can be microwaved, fried, or grilled. I recommend serving with hot sauce or salsa if possible.”

To recap, Rebecca was able to make three omelette-style breakfast sandwiches, 12 burritos, and three servings of sausage and broccoli cheddar rice with three eggs and eight slices of bread to spare for $10. How impressive is that?

“I hope with a menu like this, nobody has to go to bed hungry,” says Rebecca at the end of her video.
