His Wife Says He Humiliated Her By Sending Their Daughter To School In Pajamas

This mand and his wife have a 7-year-old daughter named Elsie who has picked up a habit lately of making their mornings a nightmare.
Any time that he or his wife asks Elsie to put on her clothes for school, she throws a complete tantrum.
He and his wife attempted to set Elsie’s clothes out for her the evening before school, but Elsie still created problems.
Elsie also refuses to sleep in her clothes for school, so that is not a viable solution to the problem either.
Since his wife leaves for work every morning before he does, he’s the one left to put up with Elsie’s fits of rage over getting changed.
This mornig, he woke Elsie up for school, and she instantly said she was not going to get dressed.
He wasn’t down to argue with her, so he said that was fine and she could simply go to school in her pajamas.
“She looked pretty shocked because I don’t think it was the outcome she was expecting, but the rest of the morning went a lot smoother than normal,” he explained.
“We got in the car and she was more quiet than usual, so I could tell she wasn’t really sure what to think of it.”

“But after a while of driving, I guess the realization set in, and she told me she wanted to go home and change. I told her she had already made her decision and I wasn’t driving her back home now.”
Elsie began flipping out in the car and demanding that he drive them home, as she apparently did not want to wear pajamas to school.
He refused to turn back, so when they got to school, Elsie had no choice but to get out of the car and go inside.
His wife wound up picking Elsie from school, and when she got home, he could tell that she was furious.
His wife didn’t say a word with Elsie present, but when they were alone, she freaked out on him for sending Elsie to school in pajamas.
“She started saying that I had embarrassed her and made us look like bad parents who can’t be bothered to dress our daughter,” he said.
“I told her that I’m sure Elsie isn’t the first child to go to school in pyjamas, and it’s not the end of the world.”
“And she wears normal clothes every other day, so one day in pyjamas isn’t going to make everyone think we’re bad parents. She told me she thought it was a cruel thing to do to Elsie, but in my opinion it was harmless and taught her a lesson.”
