This 27-year-old woman is currently engaged and will be tying the knot in only two months. At the very beginning, she and her fiancé also thought that they wanted to elope.

However, they eventually decided to have a more traditional wedding instead and try to make it low-budget. Well, as affordable as possible, given the astronomical prices of weddings nowadays.

“Because we didn’t want to regret not doing it,” she recalled.

After deciding to move forward with a wedding, she and her fiancé also spoke to each of their parents regarding the event’s budget around eight months ago.

It was at that point that both her parents and her fiancé’s parents agreed to provide $10,000 each for the big day.

Then, she and her fiancé would be responsible for covering the rest of the wedding expenses, as well as the cost of their honeymoon.

“We were very, very grateful for that,” she said.

Since then, her mother-in-law has already paid the $10,000 in full, which allows her to take care of the venue’s cost, as well as all of her other down payments.

As for her parents, they were supposed to pay their $10,000 three weeks before her wedding in order to cover the food and drink expenses, as well as any outstanding bills.

Well, this whole plan got derailed by her father– who she claimed has a history of narcissistic behavior.

Apparently, at the very last minute, her dad just decided that he wasn’t going to contribute any funds to her nuptials anymore.

“So we are now two months out from our wedding, and he is no longer willing to pay anything, and we have no savings to cover the cost,” she revealed.

To make matters worse, there is no way to cancel any of her wedding arrangements due to binding contracts, and she and her fiancé aren’t able to take out a loan to cover the outstanding expenses.

That’s why she felt pushed into a corner and decided to reach out to her grandfather for some financial assistance.

After she did that, though, she found out that her father had gone behind her back for a second time. More specifically, she learned that her grandfather had actually already contributed over $1,000 to her wedding, which she never knew about.

“And I found out that my dad pocketed that money,” she said.

So, not only did her dad bail on his commitment to contribute to her wedding expenses, but he also stole the money from her grandfather!

That’s why she now wants to expose her dad and tell her grandfather about what he did. However, she’s also afraid of causing more family drama and isn’t sure if that would be the best way to handle the situation.

How would you feel if your father went back on his word and stole other money from you? Do you think she should tell her grandfather what happened? What would you do in her shoes?
