She Dumped Her Boyfriend, Who Said She’s Too Old To Find A New Man Since She’s Nearly 30

Earlier this week, this 26-year-old woman dumped her 37-year-old boyfriend after spending two years dating him.
They had gotten into an argument after she pointed out that he was acting in a way that was controlling and manipulative, which infuriated him.
In the three days that followed their disagreement, her boyfriend refused to speak to her and proceeded to give her the cold shoulder.
Eventually, he relented and said he would sit down and talk to her, but she had already made up her mind at that point that she was going to dump him.
“He took the breakup pretty badly, but one thing he told me was, “You’re not young anymore, you’re almost 30, and once you get there, it will be very hard, if not impossible, to find someone else. So go ahead, break up with me. Let’s see how things work out for you,” she explained.
“He used to send me Instagram videos of people talking about how men prefer younger women and women who are single in their 30s are overlooked for the women in their 20s. And how it’s natural for an older man to be with a younger woman because men’s prime is 30+, etc.”
Hearing her now ex-boyfriend said that to her really did play to her biggest fears. Ever since he said that, she cannot quit replaying his words in her head.
She admits that the reason why it took her such a long time to dump her boyfriend despite him being completely awful is that she was terrified.
She was scared that she would not be able to find a new man, so her ex-boyfriend informing her that she’s too old to move on is confirming her biggest fears.

She’s left wondering how she can move on from this and if he really is right; that 30 is too old to find a romantic interest.
What advice do you have for her?
