She’s Losing Sleep Over Her Husband Saying She’s Like Princess Diana And His Ex Is Basically Camilla
I think it’s safe to say that many people know about how Prince Charles first met the love of his life, Camilla, at a polo match, yet he wound up marrying Princess Diana instead because she was considered to be a more suitable option for him.
Yet, Prince Charles and Camilla carried out an infamous affair, which Princess Diana did find out about.
Anyway, it’s also safe to assume that no woman wants to feel like Princess Diana instead of Camilla in her husband’s love story, but this 36-year-old woman has been put in that exact position pretty recently.
She’s been married to her 38-year-old husband for two years, and his family absolutely adores her. But not that long ago, she noticed a teen boy liking her husband’s social media posts, which sent up alarm bells to her.
She thought it was strange her husband would be friends with a teen, so she snooped through this boy’s photos on his profile to try to find out more.
She was shocked to find that this teen boy had photos taken with her husband about a decade ago, and another woman was in the photos too.
She confronted her husband about this, and he mentioned this teen is the son of his ex-girlfriend.
“He explained that they were very serious but that she had ended up getting married to someone else,” she said.
“This seemed odd to me, so I asked my MIL about her the next time I saw her. My MIL rolled her eyes and said, “Don’t even mention Val. I am so glad that you came along because that girl was so bad for him. She was unemployed, a single mother, and just very trashy. We never would have accepted her.”

“I am very successful career-wise and well established; my family is very prominent in the community and well regarded.”
She thought more and more about the whole situation with her husband’s ex, and she couldn’t help but feel like perhaps her husband only picked her because of her background and appearance.
She then questioned her husband about whether or not he would have picked Val as a wife if his family hadn’t been so against her.
He did admit that the reason Val went on to marry another man came down to the fact that his family hated her and would not accept her at all.
“When I asked what was different about me, he responded, “She was Camilla, and you’re Diana,” she explained.
“I asked him if that meant he would marry her if anything happened to me. He shook his head, laughed, and said I was being ridiculous and that he didn’t think like that. I told him I wanted him to remove and block his ex and her son from his social media immediately and to stop communicating with them. He’s told me that he has a cordial relationship with both of them and that he doesn’t feel it’s fair of me to ask him to cut them out.”
Hearing her husband call her Diana and his ex Camilla has completely shattered her whole view of her marriage.
She’s literally losing sleep over this, and she believes she’s just some kind of placeholder. She’s worried that her husband only married her to make his family happy and that once his mom and dad are gone, he’s going to ditch her and go right back to Val.
She’s also beginning to second-guess every single interaction she has ever had with her husband, and although she tries to talk to him about this, he shuts her down and says she needs to get over his history.
“I wish that I’d never known this because I feel like all of my happiness has been drained,” she concluded. What advice do you have for her?
