Even though her husband claimed he hopes they can stay together, he won’t give up on opening their marriage and refuses to promise her monogamy. Before she moved out, she was a stay-at-home mother, so she acknowledged that her husband would struggle to parent and do housework without her.
While living together, she cleaned the house, did the laundry, and drove her stepchildren to appointments and school. Plus, her husband slept with her regularly. The woman he had an affair with lives in a different state, so it will be more difficult for him to hook up with the other woman since they’re long-distance.
Laws require a 60-day waiting period before finalizing their divorce in their state. Now, she’s unsure if she made the right decision. She wonders if she should try reconciling with her husband or moving forward with the divorce.
