She Asked Her Father-In-Law To Walk Her Down The Aisle Instead Of Her Biological Dad, Even Though He’s Back In Her Life, And She Got Called An “Awful Human Being”

“When I explained this to my mom before the wedding, she told me she understood why [I did it] but was very disappointed. My father said nothing.”

Her wedding went beautifully, and she was happy when her father-in-law gave her away. But then, during the reception, her half-brother on her dad’s side approached her and told her she was an “awful human being” for taking a “valuable moment” away from her dad. He implied that since she’s her dad’s only daughter, she should’ve let him give her away.

Since the wedding, her dad’s relatives have been texting her to tell her how upset they are that her dad didn’t walk her down the aisle.

Should she feel bad for not choosing her dad, or did she make the right choice?
