She’s Furious At Her Boyfriend For Ruining Their Vacation Because His Passport Was Expired, So Now She Wants Him To Pay For Any Accommodations That Couldn’t Get Cancelled

“I could go by myself, but the thought of being alone in a big city I don’t know all of a sudden doesn’t make me the most comfortable, and I know I’d be sad and stressed the whole time,” she explained.

That’s why she instead feels like her boyfriend should have to foot the bill for anything that couldn’t get canceled – such as their flights and various museum tickets. After all, he makes more money than her, so in her mind, it’s not a ridiculous idea.

Still, she’s not sure if forcing her boyfriend to cover their financial losses would be the wrong thing to do.

On top of that, she can’t help but wonder if getting mad at her boyfriend – who had months to make sure his passport was in order – ruined their trip is reasonable, or if she really is just “overreacting” and should get over it.

How would you feel in her shoes? Should her boyfriend have to cover their losses due to his negligence?
