This made her feel really annoyed and undervalued as a friend, too. That’s why she ultimately made the decision to RSVP with regrets – telling Sarah that she just couldn’t justify spending that much money on an outfit as a wedding guest.
Since then, a ton of drama has ensued in her and Sarah’s social circle, too.
“Now, Sarah and some mutual friends are upset with me for ‘making excuses’ and not being supportive enough,” she vented.
So, this whole situation has left her wondering if refusing to attend the wedding over the dress code was unreasonable or if she had a right to stand her ground.
