You think you’ve heard every messy breakup story until someone drops an insane level of chaotic lore. Not only did TikToker Glenda’s (@thatgirlglenda) best friend and boyfriend betray her by hooking up, but they were also cousins. They slept together and shared a family tree. Her ex’s mom and her best friend’s mom are sisters.
So, at the time, her best friend told her that she had a cousin who was single, and she thought they would be a good match. As Glenda started getting to know her cousin, they clicked right away.
The three of them began hanging out more and more. However, Glenda would notice some strange things every so often.
For instance, one time, they were all hanging out at Glenda’s house, and both of the bathrooms were occupied. Her best friend was using one of the bathrooms, but Glenda’s boyfriend really needed to go. He decided to use the bathroom that his cousin was in.
Glenda thought that was weird, but he tried to play it off by saying that they grew up together and had seen each other without clothes on all the time.
Another example was during his birthday party. Her best friend grabbed a strawberry, put it in her mouth, and fed it to him. At the time, Glenda tried not to make a big deal about it because everyone was having fun at the party.
Later, Glenda ran into a mutual friend who warned her about a rumor that was going around about how the two of them were sleeping together.
Glenda brought up the rumor to her best friend. She brushed it off, saying that people have been gossiping for years and that she just got along well with her cousin because they were like siblings.
She reassured Glenda that everything was fine, and Glenda believed her because they had known each other for 15 years. But one day, Glenda and her boyfriend were chatting at the dinner table, and when he got up to use the bathroom, he left his phone behind.

A message came through from her best friend, saying how sore she was and to do it in their car next time. Glenda instantly felt sick to her stomach. When he returned, she confronted him about the message.
His story was that they were doing food delivery together, and she was sore because she was the one who had to get in and out of his car, which was small.
She stayed with him for another two weeks until someone close to them confirmed that her best friend and boyfriend really were sleeping together.
Apparently, they were in love but couldn’t be together because they were family. So, Glenda lost a friend and partner but gained plenty of trauma.
