If you thought your family had drama, wait until you hear about this multigenerational mess. TikToker Karine (@karinieweenie13) is talking about her grandmother’s long-standing hobby of sleeping with her mother’s sloppy seconds.
“My grandma has a thing for hooking up with my mom’s leftovers, and now, she’s literally playing house with my stepdad,” started Karine. “So, for this to make sense, I have to rewind back lots and lots of years.”
This was her mom’s mom, by the way. Her first memory of her grandma was when she was hooking up with one of her mom’s close friends, who was 22 or 23 years old at the time. Her grandma was 47 years old. They would hook up when everyone else was in the house.
This happened after her grandma had already hooked up with Karine’s biological father after she was born. Her grandma also hooked up with the biological father of Karine’s younger brother.
Karine didn’t meet her father until she was four years old because her father had brutally assaulted her mother and had broken her jaw multiple times.
She even ended up in the hospital for such injuries while pregnant with Karine. Now, her grandma is with Karine’s stepfather, whom she considered to be her dad when growing up.
Karine’s mom and stepdad were both drug addicts. They would get arrested and released together over and over. They were marked as co-dependents on their files.
Their last relapse occurred when Karine was 18 years old, and her little sister was nine. Her little sister is the only child her mom and stepdad have together. Karine also has an older and a younger brother. They all have different dads.
“When they relapsed, I was already not talking to my grandma because she had done a lot of cruel things to me growing up, and I didn’t have any contact with her after I moved out of her house,” explained Karine.

“So, at the time they relapsed, I was basically holding my sister hostage because she was nine years old and didn’t need to be around drugs or anything like that.”
But it was very difficult because she was working and going to school at the same time. She took her sister to work and had her sit at a table while she served customers at the restaurant. She also took her to school and had her sit in the car with the air conditioning running while she went to class.
When her grandma offered to take her little sister, she agreed, which is one of the biggest regrets of her life. They moved to Arizona, and her grandma ended up legally adopting her little sister.
Around the same time, her mother tried to take her own life and wound up in the hospital. Afterward, she tried to get sober and went to a drug rehabilitation program in Arizona.
Months later, she met her current husband on a dating app. She had moved on from Karine’s stepdad, who was still frolicking around California, probably buying drugs.
Her mom was happy, sober, and thriving for a time, that is, until her stepdad decided to move to Arizona as well, to be closer to Karine’s little sister.
He moved in with Karine’s grandma, which everyone thought was weird. They never got along when he and Karine’s mom were together, to begin with.
“We’re thinking it’s going to be something temporary,” said Karine. “It was not temporary. My sister is already moved out of that house now. She is 20-something years old, and he’s still living there. And they’re literally playing house together. They travel together, they go out to eat together, and I’m sure they do other things together.”
Recently, they posted a picture online of themselves traveling to South Carolina, and they were posing like a couple. It was the strangest thing Karine had ever seen. After everything her grandma has done, it is hard for Karine to feel love for her grandma in her heart.
