For TikToker Sheyla (@sheylaisaulareyes), her middle school bus driver became something much darker than someone who safely got her to and from school. He is her stalker, even today. Somehow, the story only gets creepier with age.
When she rode the bus in middle school, she mostly kept to herself and minded her own business. The bus driver started to notice that and seemed to think she was just a really serious middle schooler.
“At first, I thought he was a really nice guy because, you know, he saw that I would sit by myself, and he offered me, like, you know how some bus drivers section off a seat in the first rows for their own stuff?” said @sheylaisaulareyes.
“He told me I could sit in that chair always, so then I wouldn’t have to look for an empty seat, and I could just mind my own business.”
This opened up more opportunities for him to talk to her. He also frequently complimented her beautiful smile and started giving her little trinkets.
She tried to limit conversation with him as much as possible because he was making her uncomfortable.
At some point during the school year, he told her that he would love to talk to her outside the bus. He handed her a little piece of paper and a pencil and asked her to write down her phone number. She told him that she didn’t have a phone, so he asked for her email address instead.
She didn’t see a way out of it, so she had no choice but to write down her email address. He would constantly email her about how her weekend was going and that he was excited to see her on the bus.
At the end of the school year, she was looking forward to the fact that she would never have to see him again. But the contact didn’t stop.

On the last day of school, he gave her a notepad and a letter. He kept sending emails, but she didn’t respond. He sent another letter to her house. Finally, she typed out a quick response because she was receiving so many emails from him.
Then, he claimed that he had moved to Arizona. She didn’t hear from him for a while. About a year later, she moved to another town, so he no longer knew her address, which made her feel safer.
When she was 20 years old, he somehow found her on social media. She is now 23, and he has been messaging her every single day, even though he has a wife and kids.
At first, she decided to ignore him completely, hoping he would eventually lose interest. But then, he started messaging her employers and her family members.
Years later, Sheyla still cannot fully escape her bus driver. She is considering filing a police report.
