A TikTok creator named Brittany A. Garza (@brittanyagarza) is sharing a spooky story submitted by someone named Alex. His childhood home was haunted. One night, something evil decided to make itself visible.
So, Alex is the youngest of four brothers. In the 1980s, Alex and his family moved into a house in the Denver Harbor, Houston area.
The house was built in the 1940s and had a tragic history. Dark ritualistic practices and violent crimes have taken place in that house, which may have contributed to the presence of evil entities.
After moving in, Alex and his family quickly realized the house was haunted. Lights and radios would turn on and off at random, and they would hear disembodied voices in the middle of the night. However, it didn’t really bother them; it was actually a great source of entertainment.
Alex would often get caught talking to someone out of the window. They would giggle together for hours. His mom would even go outside to check if anyone was there, but no one ever was.
Alex claimed that the girl he had a crush on at school came to his window at night, and they would have these conversations. But Alex was the only one who could see or talk to this girl.
“These types of hauntings would go on for about a year until the family experienced something so horrifying that it forced them to move out,” Brittany said.
At the time, Alex’s oldest brother was 25 years old. He snuck out to the garage to smoke a cigarette. Moments later, he stumbled back into the house, screaming for their father.
It was the middle of the night, and he kept shouting about a lady hanging in the garage. Their dad rushed over to see what was going on, and sure enough, there was a woman with a rope tied around her neck.

Alex was 12 years old at the time and nudged his way over to get a closer look.
There was blood and other bodily fluids coming out of the woman’s mouth, and the whole garage smelled foul. The family had no idea why this woman was in their garage. She appeared to be in her thirties. She had dark hair and wore jeans and a red, oversized hoodie that reached her knees.
“When Alex’s dad realizes that his 12-year-old is in the garage with them, he yanks him back into the house, and they call 911,” said Brittany. “The entire family evacuates the house, and they’re waiting outside for the police.”
Little did they know that the police wouldn’t find anything out of the ordinary. When the cops arrived, Alex’s father pointed to the garage.
After a few minutes, the officers came back out, looking annoyed. One of the officers approached them and told them it was illegal to make a false police report.
The family looked at each other in confusion and panic. Alex’s father went into the garage to show them, but the woman had disappeared.
There was no sign of a struggle, no rope, no trace that anyone had been there at all. A few weeks later, Alex and his family moved out.
