It’s the worst when someone eats all your food. TikToker Samantha (@simply.samantha.brooke) experienced this on her worst first date.
She matched with a guy on a dating app, and they proceeded to text for a while. She was talking to other men at the same time, but none of them were working out.
So, she and this guy finally agreed to go on a date. He didn’t really list any information about himself in his profile, but she just decided to go with the flow.
He didn’t have a car, so she picked him up. Before picking him up, she stopped at the store because he said he was running a little late and wouldn’t be ready on time. At the store, she asked him if he wanted her to pick anything up for him. He requested two bags of spicy chips.
Then, she drove to his apartment, parked outside, and still had to wait five to 10 minutes. Finally, he came outside, but he looked older than his pictures.
“Anyway, he gets in my car, and the first thing I smell is his body odor, and when I tell you, even after that date, his body odor stayed in my car for a whole week,” said Samantha.
He told her that he was late because he had been taking a bath. He had just purchased a new shampoo and body wash. Clearly, the new products weren’t working.
They went to get fast food and eat by the lake. She even paid for their meal. She thought he was going to be talkative because he was very chatty over text, but he didn’t speak a single word unless she said something first.
He also never asked any questions about her. So, she had to carry the entire conversation.

When he opened his bag of food and saw its contents, he told her that he couldn’t eat the salad he had ordered because there was bacon on it. She had to give him some of her French fries so he would have something to eat. He ate every single one and didn’t even offer her any.
“That was the worst offense on this date,” stated Samantha. “Forget the not being ready on time. Forget the smelling bad…At that point, I was just done because he ate my French fries.”
After chatting for a little more, she drove him back to his apartment and went home. She thought he might text her to see if she made it home, but the next day passed without any word from him.
The day after next, she messaged him, saying that it was common courtesy to ask a woman if she got home safely and to follow up with her after a date. He replied that he had gotten the impression she didn’t like him. She blocked him after that.
