Kenneth Cole has just announced a new touch screen watch that is probably the first of its kind to come out of the fashion world. This new Touch Screen collection features a 32 city world time function, an electro luminescent backlight, a stainless steel construction, water resistance and chronograph technology. The watches will retail for $125 to $175 and can be found at Kenneth Cole and departments stores like Macy’s and Dillard’s. But the watch isn’t the only high tech initiative that Kenneth Cole is unveiling. Videos for their new ad campaign “A Defining Moment in Time” will be able to be viewed when consumers snap a picture of a bar code with their smartphone, and the video will then upload and play on their device. This new technology, powered by QR Codes, will be featured in a special 4 page insert in the June/July issue of Details Magazine, as well as at point of sale in Kenneth Cole, Macy’s and Dillards store locations nationwide.
