Her Husband’s Grandma Injured Her Son So She’s Telling The Internet She Lied To Her About The Severity Of His Injuries To Teach Her A Lesson

As she was driving to the hospital with her boss, who offered to get her there, she called her husband to tell him that he needed to be the one to get the whole story from grandma, since she wasn’t owning up to what actually happened.

“It turns out she not only dropped my son, she dropped him while walking down the stairs, so he fell onto the second from the bottom step and hit his head on the third from the bottom step,” this mom explained.

Grandma met her at the hospital, where she tried to downplay everything again, accusing her of being dramatic.

She had finally had enough and told grandma she needed to go home.

“As it turns out, my son has a minor fracture in his skull, which will heal on its own, though it will take a couple of months,” she continued, acknowledging how lucky he got.

“The doctor said a fall like that could have easily caused a life-threatening brain injury, and my husband’s grandmother hesitating to call an ambulance absolutely could have increased his risk of serious disability or death.”

This mom was livid when she heard the news from the doctor. She knew she should call grandma to say her son would be alright, but as soon as grandma picked up the phone, she started saying she was right and she knew the baby was ok.

Grandma was so patronizing and uncaring that this mom knew she had to do something to try to teach her a lesson.

She then told grandma that they were not positive their son was going to survive, and then grandma started apologizing.

Later that same day, her husband called grandma back to say that their son was actually alright, and now some of her husband’s other family members are furious that she lied in the first place about the injury.

This mom feels that grandma deserved to feel upset since she didn’t care until she was under the impression the baby was going to potentially die.
