Her Friend Had A Meltdown At Her Wedding And Then One Of Her Caterers Called An Ambulance

She let Ruth know about how many people were coming, she let Ruth know she was getting a DJ, she let Ruth know there would be alcoholic drinks…she did everything she could to make sure nothing was a surprise.

She even said to Ruth that it would be alright for her to skip out on coming to her wedding if it all seemed like too much.

She knew in her heart that Ruth would struggle in the environment of her wedding day, and despite giving her multiple chances to bow out as a guest, Ruth was determined to be there.

“Well…things did not go well,” she said. “Ruth handled the ceremony, ok but as soon as dinner and dancing started, she hyperventilated and had a meltdown.”

“One of the caterers called an ambulance. The ambulance came, the paramedics attended to Ruth, and she ended up getting dropped off at home by a friend.”

“I feel so guilty and ashamed to admit I was extremely angry with Ruth. Her incident was basically the spotlight/center of my wedding reception.”

Although Ruth exited the wedding, her guests were so distraught by what had just happened that they couldn’t bring themselves to enjoy the remainder of the wedding.

After her day was ruined, she did reach out to Ruth, who accused her of not helping her at all in her time of need.

She was shocked that Ruth was so accusatory since it was her wedding day and it’s not like her job was to babysit Ruth.

She apologized to Ruth and acknowledged that there was no way she could have attended to her while her wedding was going on.
