“I have dreamed of this since I was a little girl and it feels kind of demeaning to have something I care about just be brushed aside,” she said.
“Imagine trying to talk about a detail for your wedding you were(/are/will be) excited about and then just being told no like you are a child who has no say in the matter.”
“This is only made worse by the fact that this detail is my own clothing, I’m an adult, not some Barbie to be dressed up.”
She’s upset her future husband is wildly uncomfortable with her choice of clothing for their wedding day, and she isn’t sure how she can change his mind.
“I don’t think it’s fair that he gets to dress me like a doll, especially when this day is about our love for each other not our love for each other’s clothes,” she concluded.
