She Fired Her Friend As Her Maid Of Honor After She Agreed To Let Her Have That Role In Her Wedding

She messed up big time. She knew she needed to tell her friend no as soon as she was asked, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it.

In the week after her engagement, she was sick to her stomach over her friend insisted on being her maid of honor.

She was positive if she allowed her friend to be her maid of honor, she would do nothing but create issues with every other woman she wanted to include in the bridal party.

It took her an entire hour to figure out how to send her friend a text letting her know she didn’t want her as her maid of honor after all.

“I told her that I cared about her very much, but that I should have the experience of choosing my bridal party and asking them,” she said.

“I told her that for now, I’m not sure if I will have a bridal party at all. At first, she said that she was sorry, but then said she was shocked that I wasn’t choosing her.”

“Then she sent a text that was VERY apologetic, eventually saying that she’s a horrible person and she bets I never want to speak to her again.”

She insisted that she didn’t consider her friend to be terrible as a human being; it was only that she had to come clean to her and tell her how she really felt.

Her friend then flipped things around and accused her of being an awful friend to her. Her friend ended things by letting her know she was not interested in speaking to her while she took some time away from their friendship.

“It’s been a week since this happened,” she continued. “She still hasn’t spoken to me and has blocked me on social media.”

“I feel relieved that I told her how I felt, but I also feel guilty for hurting her feelings, and for the way I handled everything.”
