She Was Brutally Honest During Her Maid Of Honor Speech And Her Best Friend Thinks It Ruined Her Wedding

She also attempted to call and text her best friend multiple times, but her efforts went ignored. Her best friend would not reply to her.

As she waited to hear from her best friend, a ton of the friends that they both have in common wasted no time in putting her in her place.

Her mutual friends told her that her speech was nothing but self-centered and awful. Finally, she did end up hearing from her best friend, but it wasn’t what she wanted to hear.

Her best friend asked her point-blank if her goal was to ruin her whole wedding, and she claimed it actually wasn’t her intention at all.

“The purpose was to be honest,” she continued. “She said I’m trying to play the victim and how she can’t believe I haven’t even shown a bit of remorse about what I said.”

“I said I can’t apologize for being honest.”

Her best friend then revealed to her that tons of people think she’s terrible for being so brutally honest in her speech, and her best friend is one of them.

Her best friend’s husband also no longer feels comfortable being around her, and so, she’s left wondering if she was wrong to get up there and give the speech that she did.

Do you think her best friend’s wedding was the time and place for her to dish out that dose of honesty, or should she have saved it for another day?
