“I told her I think it’s weird and embarrassing of her to talk about her car like that,” he said. “It’s a machine, not a pet or a kid, and that she should treat it like how a normal person would treat any machine.”
After he snapped, his girlfriend stayed silent for the rest of the ride home. Instead of taking him back to her apartment, she dropped him off at his place and said she needed some time to think. He didn’t hear anything for a while.
But then, his girlfriend saw his Reddit post about her and her car and broke up with him! She told him never to speak to her again.
“I guess it’s for the best, though; we really wouldn’t have been that compatible, as many of you have said,” he concluded.
